The purpose of the Architectural Review Guidelines is to establish design standards for the community and to familiarize homeowners with the objectives and application of the guidelines, which are used to maintain the aesthetic appearance and environmental quality of your community.
The guidelines will assist homeowners in preparing acceptable ARC Variance Request Applications.
Modifications requiring review and approval by the ARC include any changes, permanent or temporary, to the exterior appearance of an Owner’s house, detached structure, or property, and are subject to review and approval by the ARC. Refer to the ARC Guidelines for a comprehensive list of applicable items. Homeowners are reminded that approval by the ARC for a proposed modification does not eliminate the need for the homeowner to obtain appropriate building permits or other documentation as required by state, county, and local laws.
If there is any uncertainty as to whether a proposed change is exempt from ARC approval, homeowners should first seek clarification from the Community Association Manager or Board before proceeding with the improvement.
All homeowners are encouraged to familiarize themselves with the information contained in the governing documents and ARC Guidelines. If you need a copy of the Guidelines or a Variance Request Form for your community, please contact us and we will gladly assist.
